During the financial year 2024–2025, SOUL & THE CITY CIC has continued to fulfil its mission of providing a vibrant platform for young creatives and up-and-coming talent, fostering creativity, inclusion, and community engagement within the arts sector. The company’s activities have benefited the community in the following ways: Creative Opportunities: We hosted four emerging artists, each performing with their respective bands, alongside a local DJ and photographer. These events provided professional-level exposure, performance experience, and portfolio development opportunities for all participants. Youth and Community Engagement: Our live showcase attracted an audience of around 130 young people, providing affordable access to live arts, music, and creative networking within a safe and inclusive environment. Support for Local Talent: By prioritising local performers, technicians, and creative professionals, we contributed to strengthening the local arts ecosystem and supporting early-career creatives in building sustainable careers. Digital and Online Growth: Through event promotion, photography, and social media coverage, we expanded our online community, connecting young creatives and audiences beyond the live events and amplifying their visibility. Social Impact: The events helped reduce social isolation, encouraged collaboration between artists, and promoted cultural diversity and self-expression through the arts.
