Company activities and impact

During the financial year, the Women in Tech and Cyber Hub (WiTCH CIC) continued its mission to support women in entering, thriving, and staying within the technology and cybersecurity industries. Our work focused on two core goals: reskilling women into technical and cyber roles, and ensuring long-term retention through mentorship, community, and professional development. We delivered a range of initiatives designed to build skills, confidence, and connection among women at different career stages. These included monthly events in Bristol and London, focused on upskilling, leadership development, and navigating neurodiversity at work. Through our mentorship program, we paired aspiring professionals with experienced mentors across the tech and cyber sectors, fostering both career growth and personal resilience. We also created group mentorship programs to enable those starting in industry a solid foundation. We continue to expand our mentorship program. Beyond direct programming, WiTCH actively promoted inclusivity and awareness across the wider industry. We collaborated with corporate partners to advance equitable hiring practices and created educational content to challenge stereotypes and improve understanding of neurodiversity in the workplace. This has created impact by supporting women reskilling, upskilling and to remain engaged with industry.

Consultation with stakeholders

WiTCH CIC recognises that meaningful engagement with stakeholders is central to ensuring our activities remain relevant, inclusive, and impactful. Our primary stakeholders include our community members, mentors, corporate partners, and the WiTCH operational team. We maintain regular consultation through several channels: - Quarterly internal meetings with the WiTCH team to review ongoing programs, partnerships, and community needs. - Weekly social media polls and discussions, which allow members to share their views on upcoming topics, events, and resources. - An annual feedback form, distributed to our community and partners, to gather detailed insights on the effectiveness of our initiatives and identify new areas of focus. Feedback from these consultations has directly informed our approach. For example, member input led to the introduction of more group mentorship programs, directly influenced our monthly event speaker and panel subjects, and the development of new professional growth resources. Partner feedback has also guided how we shape sponsorships and collaborative events to ensure mutual benefit and maximum community impact.
