Fen End Projects CIC run twice weekly permaculture, gardening and green woodworking sessions for 15-20 people who directly benefit from these sessions at our garden on a farm in Cottenham. - Approx 10 of the people who attend have a brain injury and engage in social and therapeutic horticulture by gardening and green woodworking on our garden site. - All of the food we grow is donated to Cambridgeshire Sustainable Food, who use it to turn into hot meals for those living in poverty in Cambridge. - We have 2 children with complex health needs who regularly visit from Sunflowers Care Home in Cottenham to get some nature therapy.
No consultation with stakeholders
Both directors draw a small wage from those who attend who are funded via Adult Social Care and Headway Cambridge & Peterborough. Our directors drew £7134 each for the last 12 months, so £14268 in total.
