Company activities and impact

During the financial year ended 2025, Gone But Not Forgotten Family CIC has continued to deliver its core mission of providing grave cleaning, maintenance, and related support services to bereaved families within the local community. The company's activities are designed to uphold the dignity of local resting places while offering compassionate assistance to those experiencing loss. The principle activities undertaken during the year included: . The regular cleaning, maintenance and care of graves and memorials, ensuring that burial sites remain well-presented and respectfully maintained throughout the year. . The provision of seasonal visits and commemorative care. including floral tributes and memorial upkeep ahead of significant dates such as birthdays, anniversaries, and remembrance events . The delivery of emotional and practical support to grieving families, including advice and reassurance for those who find it difficult to attend or maintain graves personally due to health, mobility, or distance constraints. . Community engagement initiatives, including awareness campaigns and volunteer opportunities promoting shared responsibility for the upkeep of local cemeteries and remembrance spaces. The company's activities have generated clear community benefits, providing relief and reassurance to bereaved individuals and families, particularly those facing emotional or physical challenges. By maintaining the dignity and appearance of local cemeteries, the CIC has also contributed to the preservation of community heritage and the enhancement of public spaces. All surplus generated during the year have been or will be reinvested into the continuation and expansion of community services, including subsidised maintenance for the families in financial hardship and the development of outreach programmes focused on bereavement support and remembrance. Gone But Not Forgotten Family CIC remains committed to its social purpose and to operating for the benefit of the community in accordance with its community interest objectives.
