The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 January 2025

Principal activities of the company

MMARAP provides various Mixed Martial Arts sessions to young people free of charge and is entirely funded by grants, donations and charitable funding. Martial arts promote empowerment, discipline, self-esteem, confidence, team building and fun important life skills. While the popular perception of MMA relates to highly trained athletes fighting one another, MMARAP focuses on teaching the disciplines of karate, boxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu BJJ to young people, including those with disabilities and additional needs. MMARAP’s vision is to be Britain’s champion for bettering young people’s lives by integrating sports, education and inclusion. The vision is underpinned by pledges to mobilise disabled and non-disabled people to become leaders, provide advice for independent living, break the association between disability and inactivity, and put equality and human rights into practice. MMARAP also aims to reform the lives of ex-offenders and those not in education, employment or training NEETs, guiding them towards positive pathways.
