Revive Staffordshire CIC was taken out of dormancy during the summer of 2024 following the secur-ing of premises for our new yoga and wellbeing studio in September 2024. Prior to this, the company had received one donation of £50, which is reflected in the accounts. The studio was established to take forward the wellbeing studio activities previously operated by The Wellbeing and Wellness Coach Ltd, with a view to creating a more community-focused and accessible space for wellbeing in the Burntwood and Lichfield area. The CIC aims to promote physical, mental, and social wellbeing through inclusive classes, workshops, and outreach initiatives that make wellbeing support accessible to all members of the community. During the reporting period, the company’s primary focus was on the development of the new studio and the transition of existing classes and clients from The Wellbeing and Wellness Coach Ltd into the new community interest structure. The studio opened its doors in November 2024. Key achievements up to 31st January 2025 include: Launching the community-focused yoga and wellbeing studio offering a wide range of afforda-ble sessions. Establishing a free-to-access Menopause Support Group to provide peer support and education for local women. Delivering sessions in partnership with Active Lichfield (part of Lichfield District Council), in-cluding Chair Yoga, Women’s Wellbeing Yoga, Gentle-Fit, and Parent and Baby Yoga. Building strong working relationships with Burntwood Town Council and Active Lichfield to strengthen our community wellbeing offer. Securing the CIC’s first grant funding of just under £2,000 through the Healthy Communities Alliance and Support Staffordshire, focused on making beginners’ yoga more accessible and encouraging new participants to engage in wellbeing activities. These developments lay the foundation for significant community impact and expansion, which has continued beyond the close of this reporting period and will be detailed in the next annual report.
Revive Staffordshire CIC recognises the importance of engaging with its stakeholders to ensure its ac-tivities continue to meet community needs and deliver meaningful wellbeing outcomes. Our key stakeholders include: Local residents and studio participants who access our yoga and wellbeing sessions; Burntwood Town Council and Active Lichfield (Lichfield District Council), as strategic community partners; Support Staffordshire and the Healthy Communities Alliance, as funders and community support networks; Local wellbeing practitioners and teachers, who contribute to the delivery of classes and pro-jects; and Partner organisations and community groups, who collaborate with us to reach specific groups such as women’s wellbeing and parent and baby participants. Consultation and feedback have taken place through a range of informal and formal methods, includ-ing: Direct feedback from participants attending classes, workshops, and support groups; Conversations and planning meetings with local authority partners and funders; Community engagement via social media, email newsletters, and face-to-face discussions at the studio; and Reflection and collaboration meetings with our teaching team to review class accessibility, pric-ing, and community outreach priorities. Feedback from these consultations has directly influenced our early operational decisions. In response, we have: Amended the format of the free Menopause Support Group to meet expressed community demand for accessible women’s wellbeing support; Expanded our range of low-cost and gentle movement sessions for beginners and older adults; Adjusted class times and pricing structures to improve accessibility for working parents and in-dividuals on lower incomes; and Strengthened links with community partners to ensure ongoing collaboration and shared com-munication of wellbeing opportunities. Revive Staffordshire CIC remains committed to continuing regular dialogue with its stakeholders as its programmes and community partnerships develop.
