Additional information
The directors are responsible for preparing the Directors' Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations. Company law requires the directors to prepare financial statements for each financial year. Under that law the directors have elected to prepare the financial statements in accordance with United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (United Kingdom Accounting Standards and applicable law). Under company law the directors must not approve the financial statements unless they are satisfied that they give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company and of the surplus or deficit of the company for that period. In preparing the financial statements the directors are required to: select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently; make judgments and accounting estimates that are reasonable and prudent; prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the company will continue in business. The directors are responsible for keeping adequate accounting records that are sufficient to show and explain the company's transactions and disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the company and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Companies Act 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the company and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. The directors are responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the corporate and financial information included on the company's website. Legislation in the United Kingdom governing the preparation and dissemination of financial statements may differ from legislation in other jurisdictions. Small Company Rules This report has been prepared in accordance with the special provisions relating to companies subject to the small companies regime within Part 15 of the Companies Act 2006.

During the financial year, Just For The Arts Music Group CIC has remained dedicated to empowering local youth through music and the creative arts, delivering a series of impactful events and initiatives aimed at inspiring, educating, and connecting. We were proud to host our official Launch Event, whi introduced our newly established space dedicated to music, content creation, and the development of emerging talent. The event brought together a vibrant mix of record labels, musicians, influencers, community leaders, and partner organisations. It served as a key moment for strengthening relationships across the creative sector and the wider community. Throughout the year, we curated a number of live performances and showcases, providing a platform for young and emerging artists to share their work with wider audiences and industry professionals. These events helped promote local talent while offering the public an opportunity to engage with and support the creative voices shaping our community. Alongside these, we delivered community days, educational workshops, and panel discussions focused on skills development and knowledge-sharing within the creative industries. These sessions offered valuable learning experiences for aspiring musicians, content creators, and community members, contributing to the cultural and educational enrichment of the local area. We are also pleased to share that we secured National Lottery funding to support one of our youth studio projects. This funding has played a vital role in enhancing our capacity to provide accessible, high-quality creative resources and opportunities for young people, further strengthening our commitment to inclusive growth and development. Through all of these efforts, Just For The Arts Music Group CIC continues to play a vital role in supporting local creatives, fostering meaningful community engagement, and enriching the cultural landscape. We remain committed to ensuring that young people from all backgrounds have access to the tools, mentorship, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Just For The Arts Music Group CIC recognises a diverse range of stakeholders who play a vital role in shaping the success and impact of our work. We are committed to meaningful engagement with all those who contribute to and benefit from our activities. Our key stakeholders include- Musicians and Content Creators - Individuals who use our space for creative development, live performances, and content creation. Local Community Leaders and Organisations - Representatives from local councils, community groups, and cultural organisations who collaborate with us on events and Initiatives with a strong community focus. Industry Professionals- Including record labels, talent scouts, and influencers who attend our showcases and networking events. Local Residents and the General Public- Members of the community who attend our public events and participate in our creative programmes Educational Partners- Schools, colleges, and educational institutions that engage in our workshops, panels, and outreach activities. Engagement and Consultation We maintain regular communication with our stakeholders through a range of channels to ensure our work reflects their needs and aspirations. These include- Surveys and Feedback Forms- Distributed following events such as live performances, workshops, and community days, enabling us to gather direct feedback on the effectiveness and impact of our activities. Focus Groups and Community Discussions- Held in collaboration with local leaders and partner organisations to identify community priorities and co-create meaningful initiatives One-to-One Consultations- Ongoing conversations with musicians and content creators using our facilities, helping us to understand their experiences and identify areas for further support. Public Forums and Q&A Sessions- Open discussions held during events, encouraging members of the public to share ideas, concerns, and suggestions. Actions in Response to Stakeholder Feedback We take stakeholder feedback seriously and have implemented several key improvements and initiatives as a result? Expanded Workshop Programmes- In response to requests for more educational opportunities, we have introduced additional workshops covering topics such as digital content creation, music production, and career development within the creative industries. Collaborative Community Projects- We have deepened our partnerships with local organisations to deliver joint events focused on youth engagement, mental health awareness, and creative mentoring. Upgraded Facilities for Creators- Based on feedback from regular users of our space, we have invested in new equipment and improved our studio facilities to better support the needs of musicians and content creators. By maintaining open, responsive dialogue with our stakeholders, Just For The Arts Music Group CIC continues to ensure our work remains community-driven, inclusive, and impactful.
