APNA Day Centre operates as a Community Interest Company to benefit vulnerable individuals within our local community, regardless of age, background, or ability. Our purpose is to reduce social isolation, promote wellbeing, and foster inclusion through a range of accessible services and activities. These include day support sessions, cultural and social events, creative workshops, health and wellbeing programmes, and intergenerational projects that connect younger and older members of the community. The organisation’s activities are designed to enhance quality of life, improve confidence and independence, and build meaningful social connections. All profits and assets are used for the benefit of the community and reinvested into the services we provide. No funds are distributed for private gain. Through compassion, respect, and inclusivity, APNA Day Centre aims to create a welcoming and supportive environment that uplifts individuals and strengthens community cohesion. Friendly and Community-Based Version for Leaflets, Funding Applications, or Website At APNA Day Centre, we believe everyone deserves care, friendship, and a sense of belonging. We’re here for people in our community who may feel lonely, vulnerable, or in need of support no matter their age or background. Our team and volunteers work together to bring happiness, confidence, and hope to everyone who walks through our doors. All the money we raise goes straight back into supporting our community helping us run events, improve our centre, and reach more people in need.
