Principal activities of the company

Our Core Sessions During the reporting period, we successfully ran the following key programs: Nature Play: Providing open-ended, child-led sessions focused on exploring and interacting with natural materials and settings. Forest Friday: Dedicated sessions held in local woodlands to encourage deep engagement with the forest environment and natural rhythms. Forest for all: Offering inclusive woodland sessions designed to ensure outdoor access and nature connection for a broad range of children and families Stay and Play Sessions: Facilitating welcoming, accessible sessions for families, encouraging parents and carers to confidently share and enjoy nature with their children. STEM Sessions: Integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts with outdoor exploration and problem-solving. Beach Schools: Providing educational and exploratory sessions that utilise the unique environment of the beach for hands-on, curriculum-linked outdoor learning. Inclusive Surfing: Offering dynamic water-based activities that build confidence and physical skills while connecting participants with the marine environment.

Trees and Seas Outdoor Adventures is a Community Interest Company dedicated to promoting time in the outdoors for children, young people, and families. Our mission is to provide healthy, inclusive outdoor play as a natural and accessible part of childhood, regardless of background or social circumstances. We operate a diverse program of sessions on local woodlands and beaches that encourage free, child-led, and unstructured play. These activities connect participants with the local community, foster an appreciation for nature, and teach them to care for the environment.
