Our activities include a Social Business and Environmental Support Incubator. During the 2024-2025 operating year, we conducted activities for the local community and, as in 2023-2024, we collaborated with the Muirhouse and Flemington Community Group, which was reactivated by the local community in December 2023. Together, we organized a number of community activities, including the Wings for Life World Run and International Clean Up the World Day under the patronage of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Our largest undertaking was bringing together active volunteers, residents, organizations, and the Polish School in Motherwell to organize Pumpkin Fun Day and the 1st United Kingdom Nordic Walking Championships. We have begun managing the next edition of the Scottish Nordic Walking Cup, which serves as a foundation for community promotion trips at events in Egypt, Dubai, Paris, and elsewhere. Our business has expanded, and we are now known under the short name Angel Jason CIC, where we are responsible for the renovation and construction operations, and under the short name Community Transport Motherwell, where we manage transport services for families, people with disabilities, and children. Our organization also encompasses education, sport, recreation, Nordic Walking, environmental protection, accidents, and animal welfare.
We conduct consultations on community needs and activities. Through a survey involving members and their families, we identified a number of issues that informed our public transport operations. Through outreach to the National Community Transport Association, we now operate public transport services for older people, people with disabilities, and students in Motherwell and a 15-mile (approximately 24 km) radius. Subsequently, according to the results, over 58% of our clients acquired new opportunities thanks to our assistance, which translated into easier job access. We are currently conducting focus group meetings to better understand the local community and assess its impact, addressing legal, economic, addiction, and other issues. We have achieved significant impact in the local community by organizing Pumpkin Fun Day and the First UK Championships after a ten-year hiatus, and by continuing regular activities to encourage children, the elderly, and those with a mandatory lifestyle. In this regard, we conducted public consultations and established a volunteer team for healthy lifestyles.
The total amount paid or payable to directors for eligible services amounted to £3 731,62. This does not include other transactions or risks related to directors or directors' losses that would require disclosure.
