COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

SOUTHCOURT GREEN RESIDENTS GROUP COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY

Company Number: 15239024 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 October 2025

Company activities and impact

The Company raised funds in the previous financial year to support the protection of the land known as Southcourt Green. Whilst the original intention was to support the objectives of the CIC by acquiring the land it was agreed that the long term interests of the public would be best served if the Leckhampton and Warden Hill Parish Council purchased the land and maintained it. To support this a donation of funds from the CIC was requested and was paid to the Parish Council. Subsequently, in this financial year, the activities of the CIC itself have been largely dormant although the community itself has been active in protecting the Green through for example volunteering to maintain the vegetation on the Green. It is planned to acquire native plants and with the permission of the Parish Council to plant these on the Green. This will use the remaining funds in the CIC.
