The International Association of Paranthan HMV Old Students’ Association (Paranthan HMV OSA) was created to bring together old students of the Paranthan Hindu Maha Vidyalayam (Paranthan HMV) to reunite and give back to the school they grew up in. The purpose of this is to actively support the mission, goals and educational objectives of the Paranthan HMV school through charitable ways supported by its Old Students and their families. The main purpose and objectives of the Association is highlighted below Promoting the welfare and interests of the Paranthan HMV and its old students in the UK in an effective and efficient manner. Assisting in developing financial support and other resources for the school and the OSA Identifying and providing recognition to the Old Students who have made outstanding contributions to their profession and/or society aided from their education from Paranthan HMV Upholding the school’s aims and objections to provide better education for current students of the school. Forming relationships between Old Students from different years and their families to build a close community. Providing each other with support to help better their careers, contacts etc. for a better lifestyle and building a wider professional network. Supporting the school as its OSA Ambassadors to uphold its reputation. Keeping up to date with each other and therefore about the school and its happenings Forming a healthy and mutually beneficial relationship between the school and its OSA to bring the community closer together. Participating in activities & events to fundraise to contribute to better and improve the infrastructure and academic activities for current students of the school. Establishing prizes and scholarships to current students - for merit Providing financial aid to the students of the school who come for a poorer backgrounds but have great educational potential The OSA operates purely for a charitable cause and there is absolutely no profit or commercial gain to others. All the money raised under the charity is purely for the benefits of the Paranthan HMV school to better education for its current students.
The company’s stakeholders include: - Current students of the school - Old Students of the school - Parents of the current students’ who teach/assist for classes for Mathematics, English Language and Science - Principal of the school Stakeholders are consulted on a regular basis via phone etc. to ensure that the current student receive the best possible education available to them. The OSAs connect via social media platform and meet on an annual basis for a small fundraising event where Old Students and their children can socialise and showcase their talents.
