Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 28 February 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

Company activities and impact

Derelict Arts CIC have spent the financial year 24/25 laying the groundwork for 'Lancashire United' an ambitious countywide community arts programme which incorporates storytelling, mapping, performance, spoken word, music and film. This work has already borne fruit by benefitting user groups in Morecambe and Accrington with varied support needs and people living in poverty and continues to attract funding from local councils and the arts council.

Consultation with stakeholders

Derelict Arts CIC has held coproduction meetings with stakeholder groups in Morecambe and Accrington including 20 people from Morecambe Bay Poverty Truth Commission, 10 young people from Stanleys Community Centre, 10 from Maundy Relief and 10 from Carer's Link.
