Alongside performances, the CIC conducts open rehearsals/workshops that are free for the public to attend. It runs some rehearsals/workshops at The Manchester College, to encourage student involvement. These sessions are open to students at no cost, offering them a valuable opportunity to engage with theatre in a hands-on, immersive way. The CIC is currently working on a new variety show, bringing together a diverse range of acts from across Greater Manchester. The project aims to showcase talent from underrepresented communities, while providing an entertaining and inclusive experience for audiences. Several funding applications have been submitted to help facilitate this production, covering costs such as rehearsal space, technical support, and promotion. As always, all of our activities have had, and continue to have a meaningful impact on the local community. By offering performances at affordable ticket prices, conducting open rehearsals, and selecting plays that resonate with the community, the CIC strives to create a culturally enriching and accessible theatre experience.
