Company activities and impact

In the space provided below, please insert a general account of the company’s activities in the financial year to which the report relates, including a description of how they have benefited the community. The company helps to support the mental health and wellbeing of children, families and members of the community in Merseyside. It does this via a range of activities, events and services. During the financial year 2023-2024 the company undertook a range of activities which have benefited the community, including: Flourishing Kids Project: We continued and completed our Flourishing Kids project (a continuation from previous year). These were free wellbeing workshops for children aged 7-11 in Liverpool. Children were taught about their wellbeing and mental health as well as ways to improve/maintain it. They learnt about resilience, mindfulness, growth mindset, friendships, emotions, worries, character strengths, kindness and more. Benefits to the community = improved mental health, enhanced academic performance, stronger social bonds, family and community wellbeing, increased hope & aspiration, reduced strain on healthcare and social services.
