Principal activities of the company

The Downs Netball Club CIC has provided inclusive, high-quality netball opportunities for players of all ages and abilities. Our activities promote physical health, emotional wellbeing, and community engagement through structured sport. We have provided qualified coaching to over 100 players, helping them develop technical skills, game understanding, and confidence. Our weekly sessions have been catered to grassroots players and those competing at regional level, ensuring every participant felt supported and challenged. We have expanded our junior coaching programme and now have over 60 players under 16 coming to weekly sessions. We have secured appropriate venues for training, matches, and holiday camps, ensuring safe and accessible spaces for all participants. This enabled consistent delivery of sessions and expanded opportunities for youth engagement. We have coordinated umpires, scorers, and match managers to deliver smooth, fair competition experiences. Our scheduling system ensured that teams had regular opportunities to play competitively, fostering commitment and sportsmanship. We entered teams into local, regional, and national competitions appropriate to age and ability. This gave players a pathway to progress and a sense of achievement, while strengthening community ties through sport
