LKF’s Activities 1. Competition collaborations online and if possible functional educational workshop/s held at community centres, places of worship, and educational institutions. 2. Positively working alongside the charities professionals as a progressive social unit for the best interest of the multi-culturally diverse community of the United Kingdom. 3. Distributing charity emergency campaign materials (marketing). 4. Promoting Mental Health awareness and services charities offer to a wider audience (faith leadership forum) and Councils: MP’s, Councillors, and Local Authorities. 5. Supporting charities nationwide with LKF Mauritian Cuisine Parcels currently at the rate of 50 food parcels per month feeding 150 people (parcels consist of 5-8 items of essential nutritional cupboard food worth 1m+). 6. LKF’s umbrella educational platform, The Little Kindness Programme (LKP) supports maintained schools and their Trusts with seasonal Art Hauls (age appropriate) for each classroom in EY, YR1, and YR2. Last year we independently supported 1 school - response rate has been phenomenal. Local schools have reached out asking for our support. 7. LKF’s LKP donates brand new books for all age groups to school and community libraries. 8. LKF’s LKP educational platform is led by curriculum seasonal topics and competitions for age groups: A. EY 4-5 B. Primary 6-7. C. Junior 8-9. E. Secondary 10-13. F. Teens 14-17. G. Adult: 18+. LKF’s aim is to increase independent self-development steering away from social media’s negativity. We strongly believe that ecologically aware creativity is a crucially immobilising force that heals and restores positive attitudes and open-mindedness channelled by the power of reading, performing arts, poetry, community volunteering, health and fitness, and civil conduct/responsibilities in society. Topics include Climate Awareness, Racism, Human Rights, Equality, Etiquette, Cultures, Respect, Beliefs, Religions, and Health and Safety (First Aid). The winner wins the handcrafted trophy, and all participants receive highly commended certificates. 9. Collaborating with local authorities, maintained schools, academies, colleges, higher education institutions, and faith schools. 10. LKF donates 5kg Medjool Dates to mosques for Itikaaf in London for the last 10 days of Ramadan. This is made available through our Sadaqah Jariyah donation facility whereby a person/family donates in memory of a loved one. The box is delivered to the mosque with the deceased person's name on it requesting the congregation to pray for them. 11. LKF intends to participate in International Global relief activities providing food, clothes, and perhaps shelter. 12. LKF hopes to support schools with Religious Study assemblies, DofE-approved classroom materials, and authentic reading materials for teachers and school leadership. 13. LKF intends to increase the plantation of trees contracted to the Local Authority in line with LKF’s extensive Planetarian case studies - Climate and Social Awareness. For example, Project Bee - Save the Bees collaboration with Friends of the Earth workshop at daughter’s school forming a Scouts Group - LKP Futurists (funded by Jack Petchey Environmental Awards Grant and LKF’s artwork auctions).
