Linguist Point CIC is a community interest company dedicated to breaking down language barriers and promoting inclusion through professional translation and interpreting services. By providing high-quality linguistic support, the organisation ensures that individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds can access essential services, such as healthcare, education, housing, and legal aid. The company works closely with local councils, charities, and community organisations to assist refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants in navigating life in the UK. Through its team of trained interpreters and translators, Linguist Point CIC empowers people to communicate effectively, exercise their rights, and fully participate in society. Beyond language services, the organisation also creates employment and training opportunities for bilingual individuals, helping them build valuable skills and contribute positively to their communities. By fostering understanding and inclusion, Linguist Point CIC plays a vital role in building stronger, more connected, and more equitable communities
Linguist Point CIC regularly consults with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that its services remain relevant, accessible, and responsive to community needs. Stakeholders include service users, interpreters, local authorities, community organisations, and partner charities. Consultations are carried out through regular feedback sessions, surveys, and community meetings. Service users are invited to share their experiences and suggestions to help improve communication support, while interpreters contribute insights into cultural sensitivities and linguistic challenges faced in the field. The company also collaborates closely with local councils, NHS Trusts, schools, and voluntary sector partners to identify gaps in language access and co-design solutions that better serve multilingual communities. Feedback from these consultations has led to the development of more targeted interpreter training, improved accessibility for vulnerable clients, and expanded language support for underrepresented groups. By maintaining open and ongoing dialogue with its stakeholders, Linguist Point CIC ensures that its services continue to meet the evolving needs of the diverse communities it supports
