COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

PLACE GUILD NETWORK CIC

Company Number: 15478371 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 28 February 2025

Company activities and impact

The company activates community spaces for social good by providing hospitality for community gatherings and activities for those in the community from lower income and diverse neighbourhoods. During the year we hosted community dinners for the residents and partners working on the Teviot estate. These were a mix of people coming from lower income neighbourhoods and were from a mix of ethnic backgrounds. This was the first stage in helping us to inform how we would best utilise the community cafe space and what activities and products would be best sold there. These meals provided the opportunity for local and young people to volunteer and learn new skills in hospitality and catering. We trained some volunteers in food hygiene and allergen training.
