During this financial year (23 February 2024 – 28 February 2025), ACV CIC continued to support and publish creative work from artists, writers and changemakers that explore community narratives, social justice and regenerative futures. The company published our annual book ACV02, donated 100 copies to charitable foundations and community centres, distributed copies through community book fairs including Peckham 24 and the ICA bookfair, and worked with local designers and contributors to build out the stories of 19 community projects, groups or organisations. Through grant funding from Necessity, ACV CIC provided paid opportunities to everybody who worked on the project. During this financial year, ACV along with collaborator Tamara Stoll launched the Intersectional Mapping project, a series of 6 free workshops for local East London residents to explore the roots of their local area. The project had 50+ signups and over 30 people attend in total, across the 6 workshops. The CIC’s activities benefited the wider community by platforming underrepresented voices, sharing critical writing and design work through events, workshops and publications, and engaging audiences across arts and culture.
ACV's stakeholders include the artists, designers, writers and readers who engage with our publications, workshops and events. Throughout the year, we consulted with these stakeholders informally through workshops, book fairs, and ongoing conversations with contributors and partner organisations. Feedback received during these interactions shaped the focus of our third publication ACV03, and wider collaborations.
