Silver Birch Farm CIC is committed to delivering high-quality, inclusive wellbeing, Forest School, and animal-assisted activities for children, young people, families, and adults with additional needs. The CIC provides animal therapy services to the local community such as Equine Therapy, alternative provision education, we have a therapy pony that goes out and visits care homes and hospitals etc.
As a community-focused organisation, we place stakeholder engagement at the centre of our service development. Ongoing communication, consultation, and feedback ensure that our programmes remain relevant, effective, and responsive to community needs. This report outlines how we engage with stakeholders, the methods we use to gather feedback, and how we act on the insight we receive. Our Stakeholders: We engage with a wide range of stakeholders who influence, and are influenced by, our work: 1. Children and young people attending wellbeing days, Forest School sessions, SEND activities, and therapeutic farm visits. 2. Parents and carers, including those of children with SEND, emotional-based school avoidance, or long-term medical needs. 3. Schools, colleges, and alternative education providers who refer pupils to us. 4. Local authorities, including HAF coordinators and social care teams. 5. Community organisations and charities (e.g., youth groups, disability organisations). 6. Staff, volunteers, and session leaders at Silver Birch Farm. 7. Local residents and neighbouring land users. 8. Funders and grant-makers who support specific projects (e.g., Wellbeing for All) How We Engage With Stakeholders: We use a layered approach to stakeholder engagement to ensure that all voices especially those of vulnerable or less-heard groups are included. 1.
