    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, net of discounts and value added taxes. Turnover includes revenue earned from the sale of goods and from the rendering of services. Turnover is reduced for estimated customer returns, rebates and other similar allowances.

Company activities and impact

The Sanctuary Crisis Intervention Hub CIC was established to provide immediate, accessible, and compassionate support to individuals experiencing emotional distress or crisis. Our aim is to create a safe, non-judgemental environment where people can access practical assistance, de-escalation, and guidance during moments of acute need. Throughout the reporting period, our core activities included: Crisis Intervention Support: Offering in-person and remote crisis support for individuals facing mental health challenges, personal distress, or social emergencies. Safe Space Provision: Maintaining a calm, welcoming hub where people can seek refuge, receive reassurance, and engage with trained crisis workers. Advocacy & Signposting: Helping individuals navigate statutory services, including mental health pathways, housing support, safeguarding services, and community organisations. Wellbeing and Stabilisation Planning: Working with service users to develop short-term safety plans, coping strategies, and practical next steps to support their wellbeing. Community Outreach: Partnering with local services, schools, and voluntary groups to promote early intervention, raise awareness of mental health crisis support, and strengthen community resilience.
