The company exists to provide a community of practice for people interested in advancing person-centred healthcare practice, policy, strategy and research. Health care practitioners and users of health services and systems who are engaged in the development of effective evidence-informed healthcare are the key focus. This includes multidisciplinary clinicians (e.g. doctors, nurses, allied healthcare practitioners), policy makers, managers, leaders, teachers, researchers, students and administrators; as well as persons who are concerned with advocating on behalf of those persons who use healthcare services. In the period of this report, we have engaged the community in implementing our strategic plan, led by Directors, company members and other colleagues. The four workstreams are: Marketing and communication Research collaborations Programmes to develop knowledge, skills and expertise Knowledge sharing A plan of activity is fully in progress and can. The stakeholders are all those who are members of the company and have paid a membership fee. Members are either individuals or departments in organisations committed to developing person-centred healthcare. The stakeholders are involved in all aspects of the company and ways of working. We held two whole company meetings and members contribute actively to shaping these agendas and the ongoing program of work.
