In this financial year we have provided five free to attend face to face Trauma Informed, Peer Led Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Peer Support Groups in Birkenhead, New Brighton, Wirral, Liverpool City Centre and Chester City. We have provided the Community of Birkenhead a free to attend Adult Attention Deficit, Hyper Activity Disorder (ADHD) Peer Support Group. To compliment this, we have also supplied a free to attend weekly online Peer Support Group meeting for those who are too acutely ill with PTSD to attend the face to face groups. We have also facilitated an outreach programme where we worked with partner agency Involve Northwest where we visited clients in either their homes or community spaces to deliver 1:2:1 bespoke PTSD Key work. These activities have continue to build on last years activities, bringing continuity to the provision of free to attend Trauma Informed Peer Led Peer Support that has allowed our clients to explore their trauma in safe, confidential, community based locations.
