Company activities and impact

Hope Community Enterprise primary objective is to empower underprivileged Youths and Adults from minority communities with skills training in the following two flagship projects. Health and Social Care Skills Training for 10 Participants The 12 weeks of Care skills training involve theory and practical training in compliance with the Care Quality Commission CQC. At the end of their training program, they will be skilled to work as Healthcare Assistants or Care Workers Benefits to 10 Participants In consultation with cooperating partners such as Adult Social Services of Local Authority Nursing homes, Care Homes, and Care Agencies 10 newly skilled Healthcare Assistants will be employed They will earn income and support their families. They will be able to pay tax and add to the National Purse. This will reduce the level of unemployment in the South East area. Benefits to the local communities Nationally, there is an acute shortage of care workers, and the local communities will benefits from care skills that will be provided by Healthcare Assistants. The local communities will also benefit from the services of professional cleaners. The level of unemployment will be reduced. The Skilled Healthcare Assistants will be able to provide Extra Helping hands to the lonely elderly members of the community such as companionship, meal preparations, shopping, and assistance with appointments at Doctors or local clubs. The project will contribute significantly to building a more inclusive and thriving community.

Consultation with stakeholders

The health and social care skills training project involves the community in several ways to ensure that it is designed and delivered in a way that meets their needs and priorities. We consulted leaders and organisations to understand the challenges and opportunities facing the community and to identify the areas where our project would make the most impact. We also engaged with potential beneficiaries to understand their needs and aspirations, and to ensure that our training modules and mentoring sessions are relevant and effective. Some of the stakeholders include local communities, prospective participants, Local Authorities, and other training providers. Surveys, and regular chats with community members to gather feedback and input.
