Sea Salt Studio CIC exists to support adults aged 18–64 with learning disabilities by providing meaningful work experience, developing transferable employment skills, and supporting individuals to move into paid employment of their choice. The CIC will achieve this by offering art and craft workshops where participants design, create, and sell products in a supported studio environment. Through these activities, individuals will build confidence, learn practical and social skills, and gain experience relevant to the wider job market. During this reporting period, the company was dormant and did not carry out any trading or community activities. The directors are preparing for the launch of operations in the next financial year, including securing premises, developing the training programme, and forming partnerships with local organisations and employers.
