Over the past year, we have delivered a wide range of sewing and creative activities for the community, with participation growing significantly across all areas of our work. Our programme included weekly sewing sessions for both adults and children, skill-building workshops, school clubs, and community projects. A key focus this year has been our charitable sewing initiatives, including our Sew Together workshops, which were highlighted in the news earlier in the year. We have also developed new partnerships, most notably with public sector organisations and continued to expand our Medway Sewcial initiative, increasing the number of free and subsidised wellbeing-focused workshops. Beneficiaries include local residents, children, young people, and families from across the community. Mental health and wellbeing has been at the heart of our activities, with a growing number of sessions designed to support confidence, reduce isolation, and encourage positive social connection through crafting. Looking ahead, our aim for next year is to broaden our workshop offer to include a wider range of craft options and to strengthen local partnerships, ensuring we continue to meet community needs in a meaningful and sustainable way.
