Our December 2024 conference showed attendance is growing year on year, an obvious sign that news of the quality of CPD being offered by FAB Clinicians is spreading. Further evidence of the recognition of the quality of FAB Clinicians’ members’ competencies was the invitation from London Vet Show to provide presentations for a 3rd year and an invitation to attend again in 2025. FAB Clinicians was also represented through member presentations at the 2024 BSAVA Congress. Interest in the work of FAB Clinicians is growing with a continued increase in followers and activity on all social media platforms (as at 21.7.25): Facebook – 3660 following (with a 37.1% increase in views over the last 28 days); Instagram – 1066 followers; Twitter – 336 followers; YouTube – 392 subscribers; LinkedIn – 4912 connections & 4960 followers To ensure that FAB Clinicians’ Board continue to expand the array of benefits that are available to the membership of the organisation, the fellowship needs to grow. Part of the Board’s strategy for this growth is the continuing effort to attract Sponsors from within the veterinary, behaviour and training community, who donate towards the work of the fellowship, and who, in doing so, gain access to our research hub and to some of our CPD opportunities. Our veterinary sub-committee continues to develop links that will support the veterinary profession’s understanding of behavioural medicine and as part of that agenda, they have created various information sheets and video resources for the general practice team. They are also spearheading a new initiative to foster even greater collaboration between our vet and non-vet members. A growing international community within our fellowship – we have welcomed new members from the Americas, Europe and Australasia, who are independently accredited by the international Veterinary Behaviour Colleges.
