General Account of Activities and Community Benefit: The Youth Circus's activities during the financial year have been focused on developing and delivering high-quality, inclusive circus arts training and performance opportunities for young people aged 4-16 in the Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole areas. Our core activities include community days, workshops and performance development sessions, promoting physical fitness, confidence, and teamwork within a supportive and non-competitive environment. We delivered significant community benefit by: Promoting Positive Mental Health: Offering a non-competitive, supportive space that encourages self-expression and builds self-esteem. Encouraging Social Inclusion: Bringing together young people from diverse backgrounds to foster stronger community ties and reduce social isolation. Developing Transferable Skills: Teaching young people skills like discipline, perseverance, and creative thinking, through circus skills. Enriching Local Culture: Providing unique, high-quality arts provision that enriches the cultural landscape of the local area.
