The company exists to provide support and training to media organisations and communications practitioners working in challenging circumstances such as in areas of conflict, upheaval and political transition. Since its inception, MTS has successfully implemented projects in the Middle East, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and further afield on behalf of governments, international organisations and charities. During the year, the company provided training in public interview and communication skills for senior UNICEF staff in the Middle East and North Africa at a time of conflict in the region which led to greatly increased demand for their services. Participants were equipped to better communicate the needs of children and families in the crisis- and conflict-afflicted regions through the mediums of the mass media and social media platforms.
