AFRIFASS CIC exists to support families, particularly Black and ethnic minority families, who experience cultural, social, and systemic barriers when navigating parenting, safeguarding, and statutory services. The preparatory work undertaken during this period directly contributes to improved community outcomes by: Enhancing organisational readiness to deliver structured parenting and safeguarding workshops from 2025 onwards. Building partnerships that ensure families have access to culturally appropriate advice, guidance, and early-help support. Strengthening internal governance, thereby ensuring that services are delivered safely, sustainably, and in line with community needs and statutory expectations. Laying the foundations for programmes designed to increase parental confidence, improve understanding of UK safeguarding systems, and promote safer family environments. Although the majority of direct programme delivery will commence in 2025, the groundwork completed in 2023–2024 ensures that AFRIFASS CIC can provide high-quality, culturally sensitive support that benefits families who are often underrepresented in mainstream
