Her Story Scotland CIC is an Angus based social enterprise. Our aim is to support girls and women to be the change makers in their own story through targeted issue based group work. Our school and community group work programme includes: Her Story Connects, a 10 week term time programme for primary school girls aged P5-P7 focusing on connections to friends, family, school, their community and how they feel about themselves. Her Story Starts, a 10 week term time programme for secondary school girls S1-S4 with a focus on wellbeing including friendships, self esteem and confidence, social media, body image and resilience. Her Story - The Next Chapter, a 10 week term time programme that follows on from Her Story Starts and focuses on communication, interpersonal skills and personal development. Her Story Flows – drop in sessions on whole life menstrual health for girls and women in education and in the community. Her Story Thrives/Flourishes - Monthly peer led menopause support groups. All excess income is re-invested back in to Her Story Scotland CIC to support more girls and women within our community.
Informal stakeholders (ie with no formal link to the company) are consulted on a regular basis such as the girls and women that we work with and the schools and community groups we deliver our groupwork programmes in to ensure that their needs are being met and the work we are providing is providing a positive and hopefully lasting impact within their communities.
