TeenTech run initiatives across the UK to help young people understand opportunities in a fast-changing world and to shine in those areas. Focusing on all backgrounds and abilities; helping them to understand the opportunities in science, technology and engineering

The company policy is to employ disabled people wherever practical

Additional information

During the year there have been no legal claims against our Directors relating to TeenTech Charity and CIC. Our stakeholders are young people, teachers, parents, companies offering opportunities in science, technology and engineering, FE Colleges, Universities. We consult with all groups on an on-going basis and adapt our programmes accordingly.

Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 30 September 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    The operations of the TeenTech events and programmes are now run from TeenTech Charity (company number 11587837; registered charity number 1182557) and it raises grant income, corporate donations and any public donations. TeenTech CIC has become the trading subsidiary, raising corporate sponsorship to support the events and programmes, with the proceeds being gift-aided up to the Charity.

    Other accounting policies

    The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small company’s regime. The company is entitled to exemption from the requirement to obtain an audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 for the year ended 30 September 2025 The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year ended 30 September 2025 in accordance with section 476 of the Act. The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for: b) preparing financial statements which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company as at the end of each financial year and of its profit or loss for each financial year in accordance with the requirements of Sections 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 relating to financial statements, so far as applicable to the company.

5. Financial Commitments

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for: (a) ensuring that the company keeps accounting records which comply with Sections 386 and 387 of the Companies Act 2006 and (b) preparing financial statements which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company as at the end of each financial year and of its profit or loss for each financial year in accordance with the requirements of Sections 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 relating to financial statements, so far as applicable to the company.

We focus on those whose life choices may be limited, whether through gender, ethnicity, social background, being differently abled, having special needs; helping them to understand the opportunities open to them in modern industry, particularly in science, technology and engineering. The operations of the TeenTech events and programmes are now run from TeenTech Charity (company number 11587837; registered charity number 1182557) and it raises grant income, corporate donations and any public donations. TeenTech CIC has become the trading subsidiary, raising corporate sponsorship to support the events and programmes, with the proceeds being gift-aided up to the Charity.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our stakeholders are young people, teachers, parents, companies offering opportunities in science, technology and engineering, FE Colleges, Universities. We consult with all groups on an on-going basis and adapt our programmes accordingly. The details of stakeholder consultation for year ended 30th September 2025 is included in the Annual Report of TeenTech Charity (company number 11587837; registered charity number 1182557).

No remuneration was received

Transfer of assets

Donations to TeenTech Charity The TeenTech Charity was registered on 11th March 2019 to better reflect the nature of our work, increase the public recognition and trust of the organisation and allow TeenTech to raise donations and grants from organisations that do not fund CICs. On 30th April 2021, the assets of TeenTech CIC were transferred to TeenTech Charity. TeenTech CIC became the trading subsidiary of the Charity and is used to raise corporate sponsorship, with the proceeds being gift-aided up to the Charity.
