PART 1 - GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY’S ACTIVITIES AND IMPACT - Singalong Song’s objective is to support families and strengthen communities through interactive musical experiences with a unique cross-generational appeal. Our work focuses on improving wellbeing and increasing community interaction through the simple act of singing and dancing together. - Our events are open to all, regardless of age, income or background. Some events are free of charge however we typically ask audiences to make an optional donation to help cover costs and rely on charitable grants to fund our activities, alternatively we may also levy a modest ticket charge, with a price reduction for those with low incomes. - We reach less advantaged/marginalised communities, bringing together diverse audiences, through working in partnership with for example local authorities and charities. - We continue to deliver our activities with the Culpeper Community Choir through a 5 year funding grant provided by The City Bridge Trust. - As part of our on-going “Together in Bread and Song” activities, we received funding from Cripplegate to deliver 3 Bread and Song Weekends which start next year. - We continue to work with schools, nurseries, delivering our residency at the Quarter House and E17 Trades Hall. - National Lottery Grant received for singing with our friends and families. - Our Exmouth Market Singalong continues to bring joy and connections for children and their families/carers. The band members who perform are also key stakeholders. We continue to increase our reach through our own online channel, Online Adventures. Each programme includes user-generated content e.g. photos, video clips, art work, pets etc, demonstrating the engagement we generated. We continue to receive positive unsolicited email feedback from families, UK and overseas, for example highlighting their sense of community, excitement and delight of learning and taking part in songs. The band members continue to debrief after events, reflecting on what’s working well and what can be improved. The band continue to rehearse so that the performances are the best they can be. We continue to raise our social media profile through Facebook, Bandcamp and Instagram which allows us to gain direct feedback, video, photos etc, from our audience and stakeholders.
