    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    The depreciation of equipment is calculated as 20% of the net book value.

Company activities and impact

The company’s activities will provide benefit to the general public that make up the communities that live, work and study in Powys, in particular but not exclusively those residents of or with catchment of the towns of Builth Wells, Llandrindod Wells, Rhayader. Llanidloes, Newtown and Welshpool. The community is also defined as those interested in the archaeology, heritage and historic landscape of mid Wales. We also aim to work with students at all levels and provide educational resources to local schools, history and heritage societies. The community will benefit by having access to archaeological services and training within their locality that is free or at minimal costs and enable and encourage participation. The community served by The Timescape Museum will benefit from having a not for profit archaeology unit to provide materials for displays to interpret local history and archaeology. The community will benefit from having training and educational resources at little or no cost to students at level to facilitate and understanding of archaeology and the historic environment from specialists who work in public facing and community archaeology
