Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 March 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover represents net invoiced sales of goods and services, excluding value added tax.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life. Office Equipment is depreciated at 20% on the Reducing Balance Method

    Intangible fixed assets amortisation policy

    Amortization is provided on all intangible assets over 6 years

Company activities and impact

Bridged C.I.C. is a community wellbeing organisation dedicated to supporting Black and Brown women through accessible, culturally rooted wellness, creativity, and community-building experiences. During this financial year, Bridged delivered a growing programme of in-person and digital activities including: Wellness events in Brixton featuring yoga, breathwork, sound healing, creative workshops, and community circles Affordable community sessions designed to reduce loneliness, support emotional wellbeing and create safe, culturally resonant spaces. Partnerships with mission-aligned brands (Black Ballad), Community organisations (Friends of Windrush) and practitioners to deliver classes, educate the community on wellbeing and increase brand awareness Research and listening work with local Black and Brown women to understand their wellbeing needs, barriers to access, and aspirations for community space. Storytelling, education, and digital content that supports mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing Participation in accelerator programmes with School of Social Entrepreneurs and Foundervine to develop skills, gain support, network and generate funding that benefits Bridged. The community has benefited through: Increased access to healing-centred activities at no cost or affordable rates. A consistent space where Black and Brown women feel seen, supported, and safe. Strengthened social connection and reduction of isolation. Opportunities for local practitioners to share their work within a supportive ecosystem. Development of a community-led model centred on wellbeing, and belonging.

Consultation with stakeholders

Consultation with Stakeholders include: Black and Brown women who attend our events or engage online Local wellness practitioners Community partners and grassroots organisations Funders Venue partners Consultation this year has taken place through: Direct feedback forms following each event Ongoing conversations in our community WhatsApp group A formal community survey sent to our mailing list to understand wellbeing needs, access barriers, and what they want from a space Informal feedback gathered via social media, email, and in-person discussions Practitioner reflections and debriefs to improve programme quality Zoom calls with Practitioners to better understand their needs and experiences. Actions taken in response to this consultation include: Adjusting our programming to include more accessible price tiers, including free community tickets Adding different practices requested by stakeholders Improving event accessibility through clearer communication, earlier scheduling, and co-created guidelines Expanding our digital content to support those unable to attend in person Using community data to shape programme design
