  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover comprises revenue recognised by the company in respect of services supplied, exclusive of Value Added Tax and trade discounts. Turnover is recognised when the service has been provided.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost less depreciation. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost of fixed assets, less their estimated residual value, over their expected useful lives on the following bases: Motor vehicles - 4 years, Equipment - 3 years

    Other accounting policies

    Basis of preparation of Financial Statements The financial Statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention Going Concern Neighbourhood Estate Solutions Ltd board approved the 3-year business plan which displays a strong financial position for the lifetime of the plan. On this basis, the Board has a reasonable expectation that Neighbourhood Estate Solutions Ltd. has adequate resources to continue in operational existence in the foreseeable future, being a period of twelve months after the date on which the report and financial statements are signed. For this reason, it continues to operate the going concern basis in the financial statements.
