Throughout the year, DigiKick significantly advanced its mission of digital inclusion, directly benefiting the community by delivering over 180 'Tea & T'internet' sessions that successfully onboarded more than 180 individuals, predominantly seniors and underserved populations, onto essential digital services. This direct intervention addressed the escalating digital divide, providing participants with foundational confidence in areas critical for modern living, such as secure online communication, financial literacy, and access to local authority services. We have also supported over 15 local organisations in becoming more effective and efficient in their own missions, by giving them confidence to use digital tools for work. Furthermore, our preparation phase for the 2025 program, informed by comprehensive community feedback, demonstrates a commitment to sustainable impact and continuous improvement, ensuring the ongoing viability of essential digital empowerment programs in the region.
DigiKick maintains a commitment to continuous engagement and open consultation with all key stakeholders, utilising feedback to strategically refine our delivery model and maximise social impact. Our Funding Partners consistently praised our operational transparency, highlighting the clarity and timeliness of our impact reporting and financial accountability. For example, the Clarion Foundation noted that our collaborative approach to monitoring and evaluation reduced administrative burden while providing rich, qualitative insights into beneficiary outcomes, establishing DigiKick as a highly reliable and partnership-focused recipient. Consultation with our Program Participants confirms the profound real-world impact of our services. Participant surveys and exit interviews consistently reported significant increases in digital confidence (averaging a 40% self-assessed improvement), with specific feedback citing the relaxed, non-judgmental environment of the ‘Tea & T’internet’ sessions as critical to their learning success. Testimonials frequently highlight newly achieved autonomy, such as one participant gaining the confidence to manage their benefits online, and another successfully connecting with distant family via video call. Finally, the Board of Directors provides crucial, hands-on support, with each Director dedicating time and expertise aligned with their individual professional strengths. This active, diverse governance structure ensures strategic oversight, effective risk management, and mission adherence across all operational facets of the CIC. The Board meet regularly (approximately every 6 weeks as a group), and regularly as sub groups for other projects within the company.
Up until July 2025 there were 2 directors at DigiKick receiving a wage. The total amount paid to directors in respect of qualifying services was £75,984. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the renumeration of the directors.
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
