Basis of preparing the financial statements
It is the intention of the director that the company is to be wound-up in the foreseeable future and therefore these financial statements have not been prepared on a going concern basis. The financial statements are presented in Sterling (£) which is the functional currency of the company.
In the opinion of the directors the realisable value of assets and liabilities is not likely to be significantly different to their book value and therefore remain unchanged for presentation purposes in these financial statements.
The significant accounting policies applied in the preparation of these financial statements are set out below. These policies have been consistently applied to all years presented unless otherwise stated.
The company was dormant throughout the year.
Debtors
Debtors are measured at their recoverable amount.
Creditors
Creditors and provisions are recognised where the company has a present obligation resulting from a past event that will probably result in the transfer of funds to a third party and the amount due to settle the obligation can be measured or estimated reliably. Creditors and provisions are normally recognised at their settlement amount after allowing for any trade discounts due.
