The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 March 2025

Principal activities of the company

During the financial year, the companys principal activities focused on establishing the foundations needed to deliver the Life Skills Project. This included developing service frameworks, creating policies and procedures, setting up operational systems, and building relationships with community partners. As the company was in its setup phase, only a limited rollout of services took place. Early life skills sessions were delivered to support individuals in developing confidence, communication skills, and basic daily living abilities. These activities helped test and refine the service model. No significant changes occurred in the nature of the companys activities during the year.

Political and charitable donations

During the financial year, the company did not make any political donations. The company did receive charitable contributions in the form of equipment and resources to support the setup of the Life Skills Project. Promethean digital whiteboards were donated to assist with setting up learning spaces and delivering interactive learning sessions. Lloyds Banking Group donated office furniture which supported the establishment of the companys learning spaces too. These charitable contributions helped reduce setup costs and supported the early development of the companys services.

Company activities and impact

During the financial year, the company focused on establishing its operational foundations and beginning a limited rollout of life skills services. Although still in the setup phase, the company delivered early sessions that supported individuals in developing daily living skills, communication abilities, and personal confidence. These activities provided meaningful early benefits to participants, families and organisations by offering practical support and reducing day to day pressures. The company also aimed to strengthen links with community organisations and service providers, helping to build a supportive network that will enable wider service delivery in the future. The foundational work completed this year has created a strong base for growth and will allow the company to expand its impact on the community in the next financial year.

Consultation with stakeholders

During the financial year, the company carried out a range of consultations with stakeholders to guide service development.
