Company activities and impact

During this reporting period, our CIC did not generate any financial income. However, we delivered meaningful social impact for our beneficiaries (the deaf signing community) through awareness-raising and community engagement activities. In March 2025, we organised a community event, the Fundraver, in support of our chosen charity, the British Deaf Association (BDA). As the UK’s only sign language–representative organisation, the BDA plays a crucial role in advocating for British Sign Language (BSL), influencing policy, and promoting system change to ensure BSL (legally recognised as an indigenous language of the UK since 2022) continues to thrive. We believe it is important to highlight and support this work to help improve the lives of deaf signers and increase recognition and respect for BSL within wider society. As part of the Fundraver, we created and scheduled three signed performances specifically for our signing community, followed by an inclusive after-party. The event took place on 22 March 2025 and engaged approximately 120 attendees, helping to bring deaf and hearing people together to celebrate and enjoy sign language.
