COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

ECHO EVENTS LANERCOST CIC

Company Number: 15647893 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 30 April 2025

Company activities and impact

During the reporting period, Echo Events Lanercost CIC delivered a range of cultural, educational and community supporting activities across Lanercost, Brampton and the surrounding rural area. These activities were designed to support community cohesion, increase access to the arts, support existing arts activities and culture, local venues and provide development of opportunities for young people and emerging artists, also strengthening local heritage venues. We collaborated with local schools by hosting a summer festival in Lanercost June 2024, the children worked on art projects and held a school concert in the Priory. There were local performers and we provided refreshments. We raised funds by providing food (Cakes and Bakes etc) at the summer craft fair in Dacre Hall, then again for a Rag Rug Exhibition and workshops in Dacre Hall in September. The money raised has gone on to fund a more recent festival (held this June 2025, so not included in this report), which was a huge success. We have provided everything via volunteers and have collaborated with local musicians, groups and talent to enable further planning for the future.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our directors are volunteers from the local community with close associations with the infrastructure (Stakeholders in the local Partnership) and our local Junior School, The Church at Lanercost, Our Parish Council, Dacre Hall (local Village Hall), Art enthusiasts and music/entertainment enablers. We work as a close team, hold regular meetings and have built up a reputation now which has spread in our area. Volunteers have come forward to help more in future, and more local organisations are keen to work with us. We therefore feel we have begun very small, via a dedicated few but have hope to develop as we grow. We have managed to sustain due to hosting events which are both sustainable and needed.

Directors' remuneration

No remuneration was received

Transfer of assets

No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
