Opportunities with Experience C.I.C is helping Women in their community find continued training or employment in interior decoration and associated trades such as tiling, painting & decorating and carpentry skills. Our latest projects Tradeswomen Led Pop-Up Repair Cafe links well with potential for local employment across communities in Medway and Kent. Run by qualified tradeswomen we have a greater understanding, lived experience and researched the current issues of recruiting women. We have established long lasting relationships with the relevant local community run networks and feel we are meeting our aims to work with local women and enhance their experience, build their confidence and have them collaborate with one another, to engage more extensively in the wider market. This year October we started our feasibility study on Tradeswomen trainer working with local women four trade skills areas. Although our number have been low since January 2025, we believe due to the cost-of-living crisis, we are still effectively engaging with our present and past participants. When possible, we offer volunteering opportunities to tradeswomen as well as participants for our weekly repair cafe sessions.
We are in the secondary year of our business plan which still serves as a strategic roadmap for our future. It outlines our business goals, strategies, income strategy, and growth plans over the next three years. This has helped us set clear objectives, allocate resources effectively, mitigate potential risks, adapt to changing market conditions, and make informed decisions. Ultimately, we are continue to stay on track and move towards sustainable growth and profitability over this specified timeline.
