Company activities and impact

In general our activities comprise of the following; Open access youth clubs - We run twice weekly open access youth clubs for young people aged 11-16. These clubs provide safe and positive spaces within our community where young people can socialise, learn new things and get support from trusted and familiar adults. Holiday clubs - Our holiday clubs consist of paid and free places that offer young people a safe place to socialise and get free food during the school holiday periods. We provide arts and crafts, dance, music and sport activities and free healthy meals at all of our clubs. Community events - We host a variety of community events throughout the year including music events and sports events. These events aim to promote social connection between people of different backgrounds and ages and strengthen connections in our community. Outdoor activities - We run outdoor community based activities at The Hive which is our bee keeping project. These activities aim to promote positive mental and physical health whilst educating our community about the importance of bees for our environment.

Consultation with stakeholders

Insight is ran by members of our community, for our community. We are constantly engaging with our stakeholders to establish ways to improve our devliery and explore new ideas. This year we have focused on building our team of volunteers and have consulted with local adults at our community events to recruit people with skills that fit what we do and new ones that can enrich our organisation. We also attend quarterly local network meetings so that we can liaise with other local organisations and groups to ensure together we are providing the best opportunities for our community. We have consulted with local police, schools and NHS services to develop our partnerships and develop our ideas further which helps us to pool resources and staffing in order to achieve our goals.
