    Basis of measurement and preparation

    Turnover policy

    Income and expenses are included in the financial statements as they become receivable or due. Expenses include VAT where applicable as the company cannot reclaim it.

Company activities and impact

Began out summary reporting on the activities of our community inspired production GRILLS. Pivoted in the objectives of our partner project to GRILLS; originally conceived as an exhibition of the archive materials used to create GRILLS, this was reimagined as the creation of new material to be exhibited. Successfully tendered further funding from Camden Giving, used to support a partner project to GRILLS; called FUTURE ECHOES. Began preliminary meetings for FUTURE ECHOES; engaged lead creatives Finalised objectives of FUTURE ECHOES; an audio project by sound designer Eden Alero, commissioned by MIRRORBALL and funded by Arts Council England and Camden Giving, created as a partner to GRILLS to amplify underrepresented QTIPOC voices and address the absence of Black Lesbian histories in Camden’s archives.

Consultation with stakeholders

Consultation taken with Arts Council England and Camden Giving to confirm and validate the repositioning of the partner project to GRILLS, paving way to the creation of FUTURE ECHOES as a project. Updates and discussions with Camden People’s Theatre on hosting FUTURE ECHOES and producing consultation on the project; decision taken to partner with another local community venue. ‘People’s Museum of Somers Town’ selected as host venue; discussions and agreements on partner arrangement.
