Over the course of 2024/25 Consider Yourself CIC management team had a number of health issues, Craig Sutton, Linda Green, Michaela Holland, Peter Harris, Carol Brown and Amanda Miles. Unfortunately, we only had a limited number of management meetings and therefore, discussions regarding the business objectives were put on hold and we could not develop the business further. We held a number of monthly events and one day event, which was our main income in 2024/25. All other activities were delayed, as more of the management team became poorly through the year. This interrupted our day to day running of the business, although it was important to continue with the events where possible to pay for the monthly expenses. Consider Yourself CIC organised a day event for 14th April 2024 which had similar energy and interest as in 2023. We held eight Saturday afternoon events, two Clairvoyant events. All the events held were a great success and people in the community have enjoyed them, spreading our awareness throughout East Sussex. Consider Yourself CIC has managed to keep going and has become better known with the community in east Sussex. We are excited about the future and are looking forward to building upon the foundation that has been created. We created the annual reports for Companies House and will submit them.
The company’s stakeholders are the members and people in the community as well as Charities/CIC companies around Seaford East Sussex. A number of the management team have lived in Seaford and Newhaven for many years and have developed the business model for Consider Yourself CIC based on their own experience and talking to the community. A number of the members are complementary practitioners’ therapists and psychics who have gained knowledge of their community. We feel that working with people in the community will help to bring balance to people’s lives. More and more people in the community are suffering with mental health, physical ailments, depression, anxiety, heart break, dietary issues and others. It is our intention to help everyone who would like help through guidance, therapies, counselling and universal insights. When we have our premises, we will be able to have regular discussions and questionnaires to see what more the community would like to see and how we could help. We would also like to look at helping people less fortunate IE people on the streets to give them encouragement and confidence through our activities, through funding.
