FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 OCTOBER 2024
In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the financial statements of Starkey Group Limited for the year ended 31 October 2025 which comprise the Statement of Financial Position and the related notes from the Company's accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us.
This report is made solely to the Board of Directors of Starkey Group Limited, as a body, in accordance with the terms of our engagement letter. Our work has been undertaken solely to prepare for your approval the financial statements of Starkey Group Limited and state those matters that we have agreed to state to the Board of Directors of Starkey Group Limited, as a body, in this report. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than Starkey Group Limited and its Board of Directors, as a body, for our work or for this report.
It is your duty to ensure that Starkey Group Limited has kept adequate accounting records and to prepare statutory financial statements that give a true and fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position and profit of Starkey Group Limited. You consider that Starkey Group Limited is exempt from the statutory audit requirement for the year.
We have not been instructed to carry out an audit or review of the financial statements of Starkey Group Limited. For this reason, we have not verified the accuracy or completeness of the accounting records or information and explanations you have given to us and we do not, therefore, express any opinion on the statutory financial statements.

Starkey Group Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales, United Kingdom. The address of the registered office is 117 Wilmslow Road, Handforth, Cheshire, SK9 3ER.
The directors consider that the Company is entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 and members have not required the Company to obtain an audit for the year in question in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to entities subject to the micro-entities' regime.
The financial statements have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

1.Accounting policies

Basis of preparation of financial statements
|
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention unless otherwise specified within these accounting policies and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 105 the UK and the Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006.
The following principal accounting policies have been applied:

Exemption from preparing consolidated financial statements
|
The Company, and the Group headed by it, qualify as small as set out in section 383 of the Companies Act 2006 and the parent and Group are considered eligible for the exemption to prepare consolidated accounts.

Transactions with directors
|
During the year the company had a loan account with C. Gleave.An amount of £2,900 was advanced during the year .Repayments totalled to £105,000 and interest of £Nil (2024:2,225) has been charged.As at the year end, the company owed £1,000 (2024: £101,100 from) to C. Gleave.
The ultimate controlling party is C Gleave by virtue of his shareholdings.
