COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

FOR THE AUMIES CIC

Company Number: 14211033 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 July 2025

Company activities and impact

We hosted monthly video premieres that actively involved community members in the selection of skate videos and poster artwork design. These events have provided a regular opportunity for people to come together, strengthened community connections, and offered local artists a creative platform to showcase their work. More recently, our efforts have centred on celebrating and promoting the local skate scene. In addition to our regular event, we collaborated with Adidas and Flatspot for the Hove skate jam by providing free sandwiches for attendees, contributing to the welcoming and supportive atmosphere of the event. Finally, in order to improve accessibility to North-Mundham skatepark we provided and installed beginner-friendly skate obstacles in order to encourage participation from new and younger riders.

Consultation with stakeholders

Consultation has included the use of social media polls to allow stakeholders to vote on video selections for our monthly premieres, ensuring that the content showcased is community-driven and reflects a broad range of interests. In addition, we gathered feedback on proposed skatepark redevelopment through a Google Forms survey, which provided stakeholders with the opportunity to comment on design preferences, and future improvements. We have reviewed all feedback received and will apply insights from the survey to inform the second phase of skatepark development.

No directors' remuneration was paid, however, payments totalling £405 was paid to directors in freelance payments for work done.
