BRLPP provides support to former and current women’s rugby players associated with Bath and the surrounding area to access networking, mentoring, and other support that will enable them to explore and experience opportunities beyond playing rugby. For many, retirement from a high intensity but amateur rugby career can bring difficulties which are widely unrecognised. Loneliness, isolation and struggles with career impacts are commonplace and BRLPP organises rugby orientated events for women whilst connecting 20+ years of former players. Past Players activities have included networking events and volunteering opportunity matching that have provided professional connections, supporting career development, reducing isolation and improving mental health and wellbeing. Linked activities with Bath Rugby Ladies have ensured continued rugby-related connections, including supporting career development, player development, physical wellbeing and mental wellbeing. Additionally, BRLPP has provided signposting and support to women and girls to be able to access rugby and non-rugby activities in the Bath area, including alternative playing, coaching and officiating opportunities.
The stakeholders of the company are members of the community of Bath who, either directly or indirectly benefit from the successful activities carried out by the company. The company welcomes feedback from stakeholders especially in regards to its networking activities which happen every few months. Through these consultations, the activities of the company are scrutinised to address whether they meet the company's objectives and aims.
