Accounting policies
Basis of preparation
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 102, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (as applied to small entities by section 1A of the standard) and the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP), Accounting by Limited Liability Partnerships.
Presentation currency
The accounts are presented in £ sterling.
Going concern
Having reviewed the resources available, the members of Neptune Carleton LLP believe that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, Neptune Carleton LLP continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing its financial statements.
Inventories
Inventories comprise of development property and have been valued at the lower of cost and estimated selling price less costs to complete and sell.
